Registration will open at 5pm with the event formally commencing at 5.30pm. The event will end at 8pm. As this is an evening event, some refreshments will be provided.

Where will it take place?

What will be happening?

The LEAPS S5 Conference will be made up of a series of valuable presentations and workshops, as well as giving you the chance to speak with higher education staff and students. Watch the film clip below to get a flavour of the event!

Workshop: Making a 'stand out' application
In this workshop we will look at what you can do to make a 'stand out' application, including what types of extra-curricular or work-based experiences that will help to strengthen your application.

Higher Education Exhibition
You'll have the opportunity to put questions directly to representatives from local higher education institutions and collect prospectuses and other valuable information. The LEAPS team will be there to answer your questions about choosing and applying. In addition, there will be some optional lightning talks/activities about other opportunities you can get involved with to help prepare you for higher education.

Speaking informally to university students
Undergraduate students from a range of institutions and subject areas will be on hand to talk with you about their experiences of applying to, and then studying at university.
