LEAPS Summer School

The LEAPS Summer School is a seven-week programme for LEAPS-eligible students designed to support entry and smooth transition to university at a key transitional point, as well as improve retention once at university.

It provides you with an additional opportunity to demonstrate to university admissions staff that you have ‘what it takes’ to cope with degree-level work.

It is taught at first-year degree level and is delivered across a range of campuses in Edinburgh by staff from different universities.

You will study two courses, plus a compulsory Academic Skills course, all of which are assessed.

The LEAPS Summer School usually takes place in June and July in various locations around Edinburgh.
