The National Schools Programme Review

In 2021, the Scottish Funding Council (SFC) drew together existing SFC funded activity that supported senior phase pupils from under-represented backgrounds to access higher education, to create the National Schools Programme (NSP)

A review of the NSP has recently commenced, which includes the work of LEAPS as a delivery partner and recipient of NSP funding (alongside partner funding). More information about the review can be found here.

LEAPS will continue to deliver work as planned throughout the duration of the review.

Should recommendations be made in the final report to change any aspect of the National Schools Programme, careful transition planning will be undertaken with the relevant stakeholders. The SFC website will be updated with information about the review as it progresses.
